Just a guess, but I'd bet RSS doesn't work on any sub-forum where you need to be logged in, which would be the case with D&D since it is now contributor-only.

I'll have to test that out on my own forums, but I'm 99% sure that VB takes login information into account when accessing feeds. I can't even access it with my browser while logged in.
