    I Went and Did It

I know...if there are no pictures it didn't happen. I pulled the trigger yesterday on the Nova 1624-44, also got the handwheel, SuperNova 2, Jumbo Cole jaws, and a new Steb center. The handwheel and steb center are BO from Woodcraft. Teknatool is having a sale on their lathes actually starting in Novemebr but my local WC did a pre-sale and gave me a 20% discount on all accessories. The chuck is on sale at $129.99 w/o insert.

    great lathe

Congratulations Andrew. Our club here in Southern Ohio has the same model. We like it a lot. We have the same chuck, too.

Wow! It is amazing what some magenta (???) and gray can do for the decor of a woodworker's shop.

Enjoy it double...Once for you and once for me.

I think you will like it. Here is your most important first modification. Put some tape over the top of the legs at the headstock end. Twice I dropped small items when I was working on the lathe and they went right into the lathe leg. Had to remove the leg to get them out! The next and more expensive one is get a better tool rest. I did not like the tool rest that comes with the lathe.
