    Osage Orange & Sweet Gum

    OO is 8X1&1/2X1/4,AO.
    Sweet Gum is 12X2&1/2X1/4.
    Spalted SG is 11&1/2X2&1/2X3/8.
All of them were finished with AO & buffed with Trip.,WD & Ren. wax.
I cut down the 2 sweet gums in my yard that had died from a ice storm we had in 2000. Probably have 20 or so that had their tops broken out and are now dying.
OO came from the farm. Have my eye on one that is a good 36" across for about 5' up and then splits into branches app. 18" in diameter. Biggest OO I have ever seen. Going to have to cut it before long and see how big of a bowl I can make.
    C&C welcome & wanted.

Bobby, all are nice, and I particularly like the form of the first two, but that spalted gum is beautiful wood!
