    raised panels

    I need to make a raised panel on a small lid. I don't have a tablesaw or a panel raiser, but I do have a #78 and have heard you can do raised panels with these. Any insight? Thanks

    Thanks for the link Leif, very interesting. One thing I would note for Aaron in the original post is that where the tutorial is talking about a stepped panel you could substitute your #78 where they are using a plough or dado plane and get the same effect (area of Fig 9).
