    Sanding 3D work

What is the best method of sanding 3D work without losing detail?

As a second part of the question, has anyone tried using a soda blaster?

    Thanks, Perry

    I've wondered the same thing...

Some flap sanders with fine fingers might be the ticket.

    Soda Blasting??

I had to look this up - had never even heard of it. It sure looks like overkill for the kinds of carvings I do - I'd be afraid it would score the wood, kind of like when I used a high-pressure washer on my deck with the wrong nozzle. Also, wouldn't the baking soda pack into the wood pores?
