    My Homemade Miter Saw Extension

I finally got around to doing this. It's pretty stable and repeatable.

    1st pic shows it stored
2nd pic shows it partially extended for small tasks
3rd pic shows it fully extended with support leg at end.

It uses Rockler tee track hardware and all folds neatly away.

Thank goodness for SMC and wood dough.

I really like your set up. I noticed the way you have your RAS and your miter saw side by side. That works great for that little extra space.

    Very nice.

How about a photo of the pull out portion without the 2nd piece on top of it?

That is a well thought out and very usable solution. Well done.

Really nice Jeff, how long does it extend out? Thats a great spacesaver idea, you should be in "shop notes" with that design.

Although not quite related to your miter saw extension, which BTW is very nice... I am going to snag your HVAC tape sealing idea for the DC bag... I have tried duct tape which comes off way too easily...
Trying to follow the example of the master...

I like it a lot Jeffrey.

I like the entire station, some ideas there to improve my own.
