    Some Small Boxes

We have a Positive Material Identification tool in our shop and recently acquired some medallions for verification of the device. Each medallion is a specific material (Monel, Inconel, 316 SST, etc.) We have a master box with 60+ samples and then other sets of 8 or so that we use on a regular basis. I made these boxes to hold the medallions. The boxes are of QSWO, about 3x6x2.5". Finish is shellac only.

Like others here, by the tinme I finished them, I felt they were junk, but the folks at work thought they were great so have a look.

Very nice and I assume quite functional. I tend to feel the same way about some of my projects BUT we always know every little mistake and error we ake and even if it is buried deep inside a project where nobody can/will ever see it we know it is there.
Of all the laws Brandolini's may be the most universally true.

    Deep thought for the day:

Your bandsaw weighs more when you leave the spring compressed instead of relieving the tension.
