Face Mask!

Ok, not a football call here...but a request for info on what type of facemask to buy. I am not sure I want to get the high end. Just something that will work in protecting myself from flying objects, but not concerned too much about dust.

Mark I use one of those less than $20.00 flip face sheilds. But I tell you if I could swing it I would buy a Trend-air or something of that quality. I really have not seen something in between maybe someone else will come up with something.

I am very ignorant as to even where to purchase either a $20 mask or the trend-air. I would most likely have to buy it online. Any sites would help. I will search for trend-air now.

Klingspor sells a nice flip up shield with replaceable lens. It has a sturdy headgear with a firm adjustment. Not too bad $$.

Most faceshields are designed for light impact eye protection such as from chemical spills or splashes. I suggest you still wear safety glasses when using one of these.

You could also get one rated for heavy impact resistance which may protect you against accidents such as tablesaw kickbacks. I got mine from Gempler's (www.gemplers.com).

Ditto on the extra shield - something I didn't do . Now, it's a little hard to see when I mess up - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. \
