I could not figure out how to edit an existing message so I could just add these photos. A couple requests to see the 2 pieces together. Here goes:

    Beautiful work Dan.
I was sad because I had no shoes,
Then I saw a man who had no feet

Beautiful piece of work! If anyone is interested in a project like this Charlesneilwoodworking.com is doing a build on one similiar on his Master woodworking forum. He walks you through the entire build. Even if you don't build one you can definitely get some good ideas and building techniques. Again Beautiful piece of furniture, you should be proud of yourself

Beautiful workmanship! I'm inspired. I was at the Brimfield Fair in western Massachusetts last summer. And I came upon this wonderful antique desk. I snapped pictures of it, in hopes that I might one day build something like that.

Its so cool to see your work. I like your drawer pull configuration better. And your selection of wood is top notch. Thanks for sharing.

That's an outstanding build and some outstanding wood used. You hit a home run on both counts. Thanks for showing and inspiring us mortals.
