Thanks for the encouragement. Personally, I really have a hard time seeing myself as 'creative.' But like all of us I'm also my toughest critic. So far most of my work has been 1) the wife finds a piece of furniture she wants, 2) and then I try to copy it. This bandsaw thing is opening up things for me, I'm using a different part of my brain and it's fun. So thanks for the tips and tricks. That linked PDF is great. I'm going to work through the puzzle box to wrap my head around the 3D part of it, and then try to come up with some original designs... Places like this are invaluable.
