The #3 WoodRiver V3 is well worth the money unless you are not happy with the stock blade & have to spend another $45 for a replacement.

The #6 V3 isn't worth it. Too heavy/wide for a foreplane and the distance between front to mouth is too short to be an effective jointer. I think they should have a #7 V3 and forget about the #6.
