Well, here's a piece I've had in the shop for about 5 months. Thankfully the customer has been very forgiving. Sometimes I just get a little to picky, and had to walk away from it for a few months just to get a clear spin on things. It's a solid cherry armoir style entertainment center. The doors are curly cherry veneer finished with blo. The rest is dyed to match existing furniture. It still needs to be toned, but is 99% finished. The drawer pulls are hand turned as well as the Trumpet feet. The dark line down the middle is the door pull., not an unsightly gap. The bottom molding in the picture is still unfinished. This is the first time I've ever used flapper door hardware. Very nice to use, and easy to install. Now that it's finished I'm pleased with it, but it was a real struggle to make it into something that I liked (even though that's not really what matters is it?). As long as the customer is please then all is well. Please excuse the backdop. All comments, and criticism is welcome.
