    hmm....nah...I better not go there.

I hope to get a little time to mess with the plane later this week. Can't wait to try in on the gnarly QS white oak. Sure hope the HA blade can tame this dang wood!!

Ironically Mark I've had the stinkin' HA blade for neearly a month with no plane to put it in. LV sure got bombarded this Christmas. Sounds like they can't make them fast enough. I'm sure Rob is smiling.

You're going to love that plane, Terry. I still need to get the HA blade one of these days.

Pretty all by itself...isn't it. I'm a little jealous...but no real complaints. DrLOML said she is working on my LV WishList and this is next on the list, but they were sold out.

However, she got me - The Complete Aubrey/Maturin Novels by Patrick O'Brian...which are the absolute best of the best sea novels...and Build a Shaker Table w/Kelly Mehler DVD instead. I wish I had bought the DVD a long time ago. It's great!

Now...How are you going to attach the dust collecting system to your new machine?

    Thanks Ed!!!

    Glenn,

Books and DVD's do not equal planes. Sounds like a nice gift anyway. I have the Mehler table video. It is really good. That's what started all the grain matching stuff I do now. I have taken a couple fof Kelly's classes. They are super. Kelly is a great teacher.

    Steve,

Cheryl is NOT too good to me and don't you be tellin' her that. I've got her fooled. I don't need your help.

Payton is doing fine now. Just got released from the doctor to go back to work!!! Yipeee!!! The last 3 months have 'bout broke me. He is a very expensive habit.

Hey, that rocks, Terry! That and the Med. shoulder plain are both on my short list. Be sure to drop another line out here after testing it out on some of that difficult grain! Congrats!

OK, here I've got to object on general principles. Sometimes books and videos/dvds are far more valuable than more tools.

I was just attempting to be funny Pam. Apparently I didn't accomplish it.

I think I overreacted, due to a basic problem with gloating.
