    Beyond Rockler and Woodcraft...

    Are there any other good online stores for woodworking supplies?

    I learned about Harborfreight.com about a couple months ago which is good enough and afforable, very chinese too, but good.

    Some days ago I stumbled on a PTTreeusa.com, which seems good too.
    And yesterday someone pointed me Hartvilletool.com, which I have not reviewed or checked prices.

    Any other good online store you'd recommend?

    I've ordered from all of these without issue. Good stuff.

    Harbor Freight is generally considered inferior. Theres a reason its so cheap. However, that said, they do have some gems. Its best to ask about something on a forum like this to see if anyone else has any real world experience with the item you are considering.

    Bryan gave you a pretty good list. Lee Valley has a tool catalog and a hardware catalog. There's also McMaster Carr, McFeeley's, Eagle America - just watch here, when someone finds a nugget you'll hear about it.

    toolsforworkingwood.com is another. High end hand tools but some necessities there also.

    Yes, there are lots of places. Are you looking for tools or accessories like blades, bits, feather boards, etc? Hartville tools has a wide range. I've only ordered vac filters from them, but good service on those. I have an older (2004) issue of American Woodworker magazine, and they have a free product information listing in the back, and it says you can go online and get product info too. Several listings there that would get you going. Good luck! Jim.
