    1st inlaid wood plaque

    Just done my 1st inlaid plaque with sublimation plates. Please give me your opinions. Thanks all on the creek

    Nice ! Clean !

    I would have added a Texas flag, but I'm a Native, so I'd put that flag anywhere it'd fit.

    And/or maybe the McKinney crest, if they have one.

    That's a very nice composition. I might have used a brass colored backer plate behind the photos to frame them but that's personal taste.

    I would also use a black fill to improve the contrast. (don't tell anybody but liquid black shoe polish works very well on walnut)

    One more thing I do on plaques like this is to apply a coat of wax.

    I'm with Mike, The only thing I would do is to border the prints,, it gives it
    that final touch.
