How long from start until finish? Did you work on it exclusively or was it the type of thing that came out on a lazy Sunday morning?

    BTW great job.

    LCD Windshields?

Could it be scaled up to put two LCDs in for the windshield? Since you've built one you can only get faster making another one.

Pretty amazing. I am very impressed. I'm not certain which I want more -- to make such a project or have the time to make such a project.
If you only took one trip to the hardware store, you didn't do it right.

    Awesome!

I like your choice of dye over paint and letting the wood grain be visible.

Any thoughts about how you follow that up?
    - Bumblebee?
    - Full size OP (with some corporate sponsorship - I can't even imagine how much the wood would cost)?

I bought the toy of Bumblebee. Rather than making him as some boring coupe, I thought of modeling him after an Audi TT. Sorry GM.

Optimus was a huge challenge, but most of him consists of straight lines. Trying to do the contours of a modern vehicle would be a fun challenge. Time to buy a spoke shave.
