What's a good 12" table saw blade?

Hey all,

I got a great deal on a used Grizzly 12" table saw last spring and I would like to upgrade the blade on it. I'm on a budget (aren't we all!) so I'm looking to spend about $50-60 on a good 12" combination blade.

I do a fair amount of both ripping and cross-cutting and I don't feel like changing blades all the time.

Any recommendations?

I needed a 12" rip blade for my Oliver table saw so I took a chance on this one on sale for $25 from Rockler http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?p...avanti%20blade Believe it or not, the cut quality is right there with my 10" WWII on my cabinet saw.

I bought Tenyru blades for my slider and I am super impressed. I like them much better than the Forrest blades I've used for over 20 years.

The ones I bought were industrial line blades with 30mm bores. They have thick carbide, super quiet, and amazing cut. That said, Tenyru makes 3 or 4 lines, and I'm not sure what the other lines cut like..joe

I have an Oshlun 60 tooth 4+1 combination

in my Delta 12/14". It works well for me. 90% of what I do on this saw is ripping but it's also fine for crosscutting. I also occasionally use a similar blade in my 10" table saw.

I'm spinning an Amana AGE MD12-480 in a Delta 12/14. Current price over on amazon is about 45 bucks, you can see it here: http://www.amazon.com/AGE-MD12-480-G.../dp/B000K9HRMU It is a German made blade and does well for me.

I'll second the Tenyru blades. I bought one for my job site saw and was amazed at the quality for the price. Long lasting as well.

I use FS Tool blades in my shop saws.
