dewalt planer binding

My dewalt 733 planer does not want to raise up without binding up on me. I have taken it apart lubed the 4 guide posts, loosened the screws that sit on top of the adjusting screw rods and checked the chain and sprockets on the bottom of the planer.
Still won't raise???? Anyone have a solution? I contacted dewalt service and they said take it to a service center.

I had that same problem with mine, and in my case it was caused by a piece of wood jammed in there.
