Some christmas gifts

Here are my first making boxes. One is for my FIL (maple & walnut) the other is for my BIL (maple & mesquite). The maple got a little shellac tinted with a medium brown. The tops and bottoms got some GF Seal A Cell. Both have Brusso brass hinges. I think they will like them.

Just noticed my photo skills need as much improvement as my woodworking skills. Gotta keep making progress.
