    Thanks John Dingman!

The plane body and frog arrived today.

    THANKS AGAIN!

(For those who don't know what I'm referring to, John, (like a lot of you), thought that the base of my latest eBay-acquired #5 was a bit beyond hope, so he very kindly offered to give me a spare body he had "lying around," and since the frog from my hopeless #5 might not fit the spare body, he gave me one that would.

They are going to make a great user.

I'm going to make this the first plane that I really spiffy up for my own use, (as opposed to a bunch I've been practicing on which I'll probably wind up selling at some point).

James Krenov says that "the craftsman lives in a
condition where the size of his public is almost in
inverse proportion to the quality of his work."
    (James Krenov, A Cabinetmaker's Notebook, 1976.)

I guess my public must be pretty huge then.

    Tom,

It really was nothing, and I was very glad to be able to help!
