Thumbs down Wow, HD plywood wins the day....

So we are walking around HD looking for their cheap lumber for me to practice dovetails on. Yeah pine is hard to dovetail but success at hard stuff makes easy stuff ... easy

As we are going to the cull lumber section I noticed this little gem:
    hd plywood.jpg

I'm used to that in their 2x2s but this was extra special

Lol sorry the pine is unrelated to the plywood picture. I was on my way to get practice material for dovetails and noticed this piece of "premium" plywood.

I think you did not know what area of the store you were in.

I believe you were in the boat building area.

Actually, that stack IS the premium pile. HD charges extra for pre-warped material. Usually, you have to take it back to your shop before it starts to move. With this stuff, you can proceed directly to returns from checkout.
The problem with education in the School of Hard Knocks is that by the time you're educated, you're too old to do anything.

I've never been able to take the sheet right on top... but usually there is an acceptable sheet in the middle somewhere.

so... pine is hard to dovetail? maybe that is what is holding me back?
