As posted earlier in the week, I am nearing the end of my overhaul of my "old" (pre-1990)... "imported" bandsaw. It has always worked well for me, but there's one glitch: it takes 92-1/2" blades, making me have to search for suppliers or have them welded up for me. I was tempted to have a 1/2" riser made out of steel plate to allow the use of 93-1/2" blades, which are abundant. Anyone out there think this is a good idea, or should I just live with the "short"comings??? Thanks, Butch
