    step stool

I have not posted anything in a while. However I have been making a few things. My daughters first grade class has a white smart board howeve most of the kids could only reach the bottom of it to work on. The teacher requested a step stool so I made one for each class. they are two step stools with storage under each step. the stools are made from walnut and I used drop leaf hinges for the storage.

  2. Nice job, I really like the storage, great idea. Wally

    Mike -

Great idea and design.......just think of how many first graders will be up n down those for the next decade or two or three. Very cool!

A great contribution to "higher" education. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I have made several similar units based on the FineWoodworking article, but never one with storage like yours. You created some nice units and also sparked an idea in my head for incorporating similar storage capabilities in my next ones.

Those just seem too nice for anybody, even little people, to be walking on.
