After looking at all of the beautiful work from all you turners, I thought I would try some bowls.
The first 2 are figured maple about 8" diam.
The other 2 are Red Heart and Chechen, about 6" diam.
Thanks all for looking and inspiration!!

Really nice looking bowls. M&M's would be good. I would sign and date them to keep to compare later down the road.

Nice looking bowls. Love the color and grain of those in the second pic, too. ...and so the vortex begins...
Nicely done on all counts, but that chechen is my personal favorite. I'm with Bernie on the M&Ms... preferable the dark chocolate variety.
Nice bowls, Dave - whether they are the first of thirty-first.
And I too am with Bernie and Dave - M&M's, but peanut, not dark.
Also, Dave, if you feel like taking a ride on a Tuesday or Thursday night early in the month, I'd love to have you as a guest at one of the two turning clubs I belong to. WNY Turners 1 meets on the first Thursday of the month, and Pembroke on the second Tuesday.

Nice work, Dave!! And, my pick is the Chechen, as well - though, you have done a very good job on all of them.
