    Wormy Red Bud

    This was actually a burl but not anything much going on in the wood. Measures 7 x 3. Thanks for looking.

    Mike, there may not be a lot of burl figure, but this piece has some wonderful character!! Great piece - and, all in one piece, too!! I am surprised you didn't cut it up and glue it back together just to stay in practice!

    I'm not sure what piece you are looking at but the piece in your pictures looks great! Lots of character and colors going on. Nothing to be ashamed about in my book!

    I need to cut down a large red bud in my moms yard and it is full of burls.Now I know what to expect.

    Jeepers Mike, I almost didn't look at this, beacuse of your text..You didn't seem happy with it, so I almost didn't wait for the 2 minutes it took to download..Glad I didn't believe you & waited. I'm amazed it held together. It's a wild piece of wood.
