    Bird House

Here is my latest attempt at turning. Made of cedar. The body is a glue up of 8 pieces cut at 22.5 deg. Turned into a cylinder. The top is made of flat boards glued up and then turned into a cone shape. The bottom is attached with pocket screws so it can be remover for cleaning. Finish is spray exterior poly.
The cylinder is 5 1/2" in diameter and the house stands 10" high.
The shingle effect is done with a wood burner.
    Thanks for lookinghttp://www.sawmillcreek.org/attachme...id=14942&stc=1

    David -

Nice job! Very unique design. I really like the shingle effect.

What is the hole diameter? Put out a For Rent sign, it should have some occupants come spring.
