    Coontz Tool Planes

I've recently inherited several old tools including two wood-body planes stamped "Coontz Tool Co" on the toe. One marked 13 measures 16" end to end and 2 1/4" across the blade. The other, marked 19 is 22" long and the same width.

Internet search for "Coontz Tool" doesn't find anything.
Has anyone here ever heard of Coontz Tool Co?

Ogontz was a second line for Sandusky.
Your endgrain is like your bellybutton. Yes, I know you have it. No, I don't want to see it.

    Bingo!
Mods- :31 minutes to a perfect answer; is that some kind of record? If Greg only used one hand?

    Thanks Greg
