    Guitar Heroes Exhibit at MET

I thought I would bring it to your attention in case you are interested and within the reasonable travel distance... It will be worthwhile your time. If you do visit, make sure to do the "audio guide tour" to hear the actual instruments played by the "masters".

I'm really hoping to get down there before that closes in July. I got a look at the catalogue a guy at work brought in and there are some fantastic instruments on display there. It seems there are performances scheduled on alternating Thursdays using actual instruments from the gallery, and some other performances, perhaps on Sundays? Its worth a look at the MET website if you'd like to catch one of those dates.

For those who can't get there, one of the featured "Modern Masters", John Monteleone, has a series of video blogs on You Tube that I found quite interesting. His guitar is the one featured on the cover of the MET's brochure with the mandolin style scroll. Sweet stuff.
