    What will you buy next?

I have been scanning the woodworking catalogs to treat myself with a new tool or??? Started working again after being unemployed for about a year. Held my last job for 24 years. I have been deprived of new tools for way too long LOL!!!!

So what is on your list to buy next? I am not thinking anything big for myself but would love to hear anyway.

I went with wood. Just got back with a load of walnut.

The next purchase will be wood for an upcoming project, but a new cordless drill/impact set is not far behind.

I'd like to upgrade my jointer to a 8 x 72 grizzly when the money tree starts yielding it's fruit once again.

My next purchase will be a Milwaukee 5625 Router to install in a router table I'm building.

I'd also like to get a Biesmeyer Overarm Blade Guard for my Unisaw (Maybe later this year), and upgrade my Powermatic PJ-882 Jointer to a Byrd Head (Probably next year).

Dual drum sanding machine. I currently have a Performax 16-32, but it is limited to one drum, one grit paper. Would be nice to place progressive grits on the drums and get closer to finished.

I was looking at the 24" Grizzly at the showroom last week. I wouldn't mind getting one of those but it probably won't ever happen.

I think the next investment in my shop will probably be building my finishing room in the unfinished space. My wife keeps asking when I'm going to do it. The plan was for a raised wooden floor since the floor is dirt/gravel now, but I'd really like to pour a concrete floor back there so I keep putting it off. I bought a surplus exterior french door that's been sitting in our garage and a stack of PT 2x8's last summer.

I'm pulling together funding for a JET 18" band saw on craigslist, as long as it doesn't sell to someone else first.

Joe - this one you are simply going to love............

Most likely, I'll be getting a replacement for my pancake compressor. Going downhill fast.....

Looks like the leading contender is the I-R 2hp twin-stack oiled - might as well go for something quieter. Plus - add a box to a circuit for it, with a 15a timer to make the rest of the crowd happy - automatically cut off the power........
When I started woodworking, I didn't know squat. I have progressed in 30 years - now I do know squat.
