I guess this is a scam

I just got an email ,supposedly from the chairman of Craigslist, saying I've won a free Mac computer. Only problem is the name on the email is not the real name of the Craigslist CEO. I assume this is a scam

    It would seem likely.

    Yes - a scam. I've been offered 3 of these now .

After several fishy C/L emails, I always do a Google search of sender's name & "scam" when I get a C/L response before I reply. Not a guarantee but the scammers aren't always creative with their reply names.

If it seems too good to be true it probably is.

Yup Scam.. I've had 4 emails this week, from banks that I have never done business with, asking me to update my account information ha.. Right clicking a scam web address in Thunderbird lets you report a web forgery to help out other folks..
Epilog 24TT(somewhere between 35-45 watts), CorelX4, Photograv(the old one, it works!), HotStamping, Pantograph, Vulcanizer, PolymerPlatemaker, Sandblasting Cabinet, and a 30 year collection of Assorted 'Junque'

Every time you make a typo, the errorists win

I Have to think outside the box.. I don't fit in it anymore

    Experience is a wonderful thing.
It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

Every silver lining has a cloud around it
