OK...
I reply to a guys CL ad who is selling wood. I email him ahile back and he responds telling me that others are interested.
He later gets back to me because of "no shows".
I send him my phone # and he calls me. Since I don't remember the details of the listing I ask him again what he has. He tells me walnut.
I ask him what he wants for it. He says $100 for the lot.
I ask him how much he has. He tells me, "Oh...I don't know...30-35 boards."
I tell him that I'll be right there.
So I get what turn out to be 170 b/f of walnut...PLUS some pine...which included 4 eight foot boards that ranged from 16" to 20" wide.
I am pleased.
