    Killer Passes

Harmon Killebrew passed away a few hours ago from cancer. Great hitter, but one of the most underrated of the greatest. RIP Killer.

I have meet a fair amount of professional athletes and Harmon was by far and away the kindest and friendliest I have ever met. The world will miss him. I only wish I could have seen him play.

I got to see him in Baltimore in either 67 or 68 when he played for the twins. You didn't want to miss his batting practice or his ups during the game. He could really drive the ball and you didn't want to miss it.
