    Kobra hollowing system

I googled Kobra hollowing systems and came up with 2 videos on you tube that I watched. I thought that the workmanship and quality of the equipment was first rate My question is , does anyone know where and when this is going to be available and at what cost?

Don, there have been a couple of threads within the past couple of weeks on this system.

Jack Mincey posted a couple of reviews -

    Another thread -

I just inquired about the product and this is what I learned.

The Kobra's are being produced however they are on break for the summer. They are currently sold out and will start up again in the fall. You can contact them for info. and to get your name on the list at jatooling@yahoo.com

They also stopped making the "Jr." model altogether. They only make the larger one.

I ordered a Kobra system from Al about 3-4 weeks ago. I believe he is currently enjoying a summer break. He also mentioned that I should receive mine in time for Christmas. I think it will be worth the wait.

As a mechanical engineer I consider it quite well designed and very nicely built.

    Thanks, Glenn

I just got my Kobra along with Jack and Rick prior to their summer shutdown. They don't have a website, but they'll send you an information sheet (MS Word doc) via email. I still have the document they sent me in January and would be happy to pass it along to anyone. Just PM me your email address.

IMHO, the system is worth the price and the long wait. It is built like a tank and is as smooth to hollow with as free hand but without the stress on your body.
