    Creeker Visit (last weekend)

Last weekend the wife and I had a booth at a Arts/Crafts Show in Blairsville, GA ... well, I had mentioned it to fellow Creeker and nearby resident, Mark Hazelden to come visit ... well, he and his wife ventured over for a quick visit.

We did get a chance to chat for a little while, but it got a little busy for us that morning. Its always nice to meet a fellow turner and as usual, we exchanged a few ideas and I got to show off some of my stuff!

Nice to meet ya Mark, look forward to my next visit up your neck-o-woods!

    Lee,

It was great meeting you and your wife. My first Creeker sighting!

You had a great looking booth and glad you had a good show.

Give me a shout if you're back this way and we'll make some shavings in my shop.

    Mark

Creeker meetings are great! I have had the pleasure of spending some time with a few myself, and they have always been good times. Lee, you do realize that mixing flat work and round work is getting very close to sacrilege, don't you!?!?!? Notwithstanding, that is some nice looking work! Both flat and round.

The flat work is my funding source for the finer things in life ... like a bigger lathe, more chucks, more gouges .... !!!!!

Lee---Glad you two got together, and nice selection fro your show. I remember that bowl in the sort of triangular plank. Hope you had some sales.

Nice cutting boards too - I wouldn't have thought there would be so many Green Bay Packer fans down there in Georgia.

Sounds like a good time. Hope the show treated you well. Lee, I would love to see a closer pic of your cutting boards. Is the Georgia G done with a burner? Is the other one the GT Yellow Jacket? That's pretty cool, would like to know how you did those.
