    Tim, I inherited my grandma's toothpick holder collection (about 200 in all) and I can sincerely say that is the coolest toothpick holder I have ever seen. Beautiful work!

    That's too cool, and the betel nut puts it over the top for me... I've never seen much less turned one, but I'm adding it to the mental list. My experiences with banksia pods have left me wishing I was a better turner... Nothing I ever made turned out as nice as yours. Perhaps I'll leave the banksia pods to you...
