Is there something I need to enable to see pictures that other people post in their threads?
Thanks.

I've noticed a lot of this and each time I've checked, the pictures were hosted on photo bucket (many firewalls block that site). I can see pictures that have been uploaded to SMC just fine. I'm guessing that something about how the new forum software handles uploads must be throwing some people and they have quit uploading their pictures. If you want to see if that's your problem, with a post open that should be showing pictures, tell your browser to view source, then search for "img" (no quotes). You will see a bunch of them for all the little graphic pieces that the forums use, but around the text of the post that should contain the pictures, you'll also see one of those tags for each picture. If the "src=" part points to some other web site (like photo bucket) then you are seeing the same problem that I am.
Marv,
Can you see this picture?
Hi Keith,
Thanks for the response.
No, I don't see any pictures. What I see, are the words "Attached Thumbnails" in a grayed box. Do I need to do anything to make them show up?

Keith,
Is my image viewing problem solvable? Am I the only one having this problem?

Marv,
I will ask Aaron this morning what he thinks the problem could be.
.
I have the same problem. I don't usually even bother to read threads with pics.

Always use the word "impossible" with extreme caution
Steve,
I heard that a picture is worth a thousand words. So if there are three pictures, that's worth 3000 words! If we can't see the pictures people post, it takes away a large amount of what is being conveyed. If I can't see pictures, I have no reason to read any of the posts in the thread, because I'm not sure what is being referred to.

Keith,
I use Firefox as my default browser. If I switch back to Internet Explorer, the browser I used to use, I get the pictures. However, it wasn't until you upgraded your site that the problem occurred and I was using Firefox at that time. So it must have something to do with Firefox.

OK Lets see if we can do something
In FF, go to the tools menu, choose options, go to the content tab. Is the load images automatically box checked or is SMC in the exceptions list? Maybe if you put it in the list of exceptions as an allow it will work.
