Pub Table of Jatoba, Ebony and Olive Woods

This was a totally fun project … from the wood pickup IMGP0479.jpg to the final assembly P6160040.JPG. Table is made from Jatoba with some Ebony inlays for accent and an Olive Wood veneer on the top of the storage cabinet. Storage cabinet has a drawer in it P6160041.JPG. Also has one removable leaf. 40” x 48” w/o leaf, 40” x 66” w/ leaf P6130022.JPG, 43” tall to match the breakfast bar height. Finish is 5 coats of Natural Danish Oil on all surfaces with an additional 3 coats of 50/50 blend of Danish Oil/Poly on the table and cabinet tops. Started in late Dec, 2010 and will deliver to the customer, my son, this weekend. I have lots left for the charis and whatever comes up after them. A close up of the Olive Wood veneer (before applying finish) P1011665.JPG. Enjoy.
