    A box for Habitat for Humanity

    I built this over the last 2 months (slowly) for the next Auction that HfH is having here in the Pasadena area.

    Bird's eye maple and paduk, my usual finish of Danish, but this time I added some Sam Maloof finish and wax.

    Comments and criticisms welcomed.

    Wow, I love it. Beautiful top. Love the way the 'handle' drops down into the front and how the bottom of the inside trays extend past their sides. Great design feature.

    I'll bet you had fun trying to keep the padauk dust from staining the maple! I usually fail at that task.
