    Doug, it's already been said, but that's a great gloat. You're lucky to have such a cute daughter that is interested in turning. Hopefully, she will carry the experiences well into her adulthood. Congratulations.

    Thanks for the comments! Abby has always been a 'Daddy's Girl' so it just seems natural to spend some in the shop with her. Maybe the lathe will keep her occupied during her teen years so she won't be out chasing boys!

    Great gloat Doug! and your daughter's a cutie!
    As far as the teen years and boys, when she starts getting interested in them just have her invite them over to learn turning, she'll be happy turning and you'll be happy you can keep your eyes on the boys!

    It was good to meet you and the whole group, your kids seamed to be fine in a show made for big people. Glad you had fun.
