    Music Box mechanisms

I've got the original berry-basket designs. I want to make the music boxes in the designs like Laserbits did of the same designs. What I want to know, if anybody here makes them, where do you get the mechanisms for them. I have googled this and some of these boogers can be expensive.

    Thanks,

    Anthony,
Have you looked at Klockit ?

Very inexpensive to very expensive, depends on the quality and number of notes.

I have looked for years for plans to make a Music Movement but have found nothing to date.

I've made a couple as gifts and quality mechanisms carry a quality price but the sound and dependability are worth it.

    Woodcraft used to have them.

There are a handfull out in scalled price ranges. I'm with Mike get a quality piece as this is what a music box is all about.
If it doesn't sound good or breaks it takes the whole point away of making a nice piece.
