    Recycling Redwood

    Here is a bench I made for my wife to put her plants on. I made it from an old redwood deck Kelly Hanna and I pulled up. I saved some boards that were in fair condition. I slathered (technical term) on a good coat of BLO to protect it. The dark spots are from the old nail holes that give it "character".

    The style is from a bench in Wood Mag. (I think) with some alterations I made that were inspired from a bench I saw at clients house.

    That looks really nice. Way to reuse that old stuff. And you got paid to take it out too!

    Pretty nice. It should weather to a nice grey.
