    Clips for bits.

I need some shopping help. I want to make something to hold brace bits and am looking for the clips shown in this photo taken off the net. What do you call the clips holding the bits? Where can I find them? Or, do you have other ideas for keeping bits handy. Now they are in a plastic roll that's not very user friendly. Thanks, Paul

Another approach: Jennings used to make a neat storage box consisting of three finger-jointed trays with individual troughs for each bit. The trays were hinged together and latched. A variation of these boxes would be a good project. Check on eBay for an idea of what the boxes look like. Sometimes an empty box comes up for auction.

I intended to do the same thing. I ordered some spring-clip tool holders from McMaster-Carr, item 1722A41.
I haven't used them yet, but I'll have them if I ever get around to making a bit holder or box.
