Craig - got your message. I saved the file in X5 - here it is in V12 so most everybody should be able to use it. Why do I always forget to do that?

I just spotted the MDH Designs penguin - the source of inspiration perhaps ?

I don't know if it's the MDH designs, but it's a free for personal use / non-commercial image I found and modified for this use (drew up the flower and pedestal, modified the penguin for the pedestal, etc). It seems to be a derivative of the Linux penguin Tux, but it's not a direct copy of that either. It's cute and my wife really, really liked it :-)

    Hi SMC er's,
Love the penguin and would love to do this with 1/8" plexi if possible? Can this be done? This is a great forum and the members are the best!!!

Sure, just scale it down in Corel so that the the slots match the thickness of your material. If you put a dimension on the slot it makes it very easy to scale it quickly.

I'll bet it would look even more 'penguin-ish' if you reversed the colors

Thinking about making it into a earring holder for the students I teach at my middle school. I think they young ladies will love this!!!!

That's a great idea Mike! Bet they would love it, post it so we can see how it turns out if you end up doing that.

I tried it in reverse.. that gave me a 'black' penguin with a white breast. It's a fun file!
