    Grizzly G0555 Bandsaw modification

    I would like to share and idea that works well for me.

    I replaced the flat washer with this thrust bearing.
    INA P/N W3/8-HLG (made in India) ??
    It costs less than $20.00

    This makes adjusting the tension a much nicer task.

    I was just complaining about what a pain it is to tension blades on my G0555 yesterday. Thanks for the idea Cliff.

    I picked up a grizzly several years ago one of the last models cast iron, not as nice as yours, fortunately for me it had one on there. It works great and wonder why they wouldn't already have them. Ive picked up a few things from this guy on eBay = Company VXB ball bearings name irvineman ( 102188).
    No affiliation just a place to find them. just goggled in he had 20 pages + of this type bearing.
