    Thank You Kathy!!!

Well about a week ago I posted that I had purchased a Jamieson Hollowing Rig and was looking to borrow his DVD showing set up and use. Well Kathy Marshall did not hesitate to offer hers up. I got it in today and it appears Kathy was concerened that we have Dust storms here in Houston like she does in Arizona so she took it upon herself to add "Ballast" to the box to guarantee it did not blow away. Packed along side of the DVD were 2 chunks of Mesquite (one labled as root). Now, I have mesquite in my shop and I have turned some, but this stuff smells GREAT and is super dense, nothing like what I have. It is in my office now and it smells like BBQ in here don't worry no cookin goin on w/ these logs. After a few sacrificial logs are lost to the hollower these butes will find their way up there. Thanks a ton Kathy, you are as exceptional a person as your are a Turner.

Chris, congrats on being on Kathy's list "Nothing smells quite as sweet as Kathy's mesquite!"

You're welcome Chris! and glad the box didn't blow away lol!
Can't wait to see what you turn from them! When you start playing with your Jamieson (hmmm...that sounds kinda bad lol), start off with something with a big opening so you can see what the cutter is doing, makes it easier to know what's going on inside when you go to a smaller opening.
