    Wadkin 16" jointer

    Someone got a great deal! I sent an email last evening and found out that it was sold within a couple of hours of posting. I suspect that it would be a beast to move!

    Old jointers are a great deal. The fact it was single phase opened it up to a larger market although the motor is a little small. Jointers are very easy to run on a vfd so 3 phase is actually a plus as many are direct drive at 3600 rpm. The vfd allows for faster speeds if wanted. The good old ones had huge bearings specd at 5000-6000 rpm so easy to modify. Dave
