Herb, The only thing I would add, other than -agree with all the above, is based on that desk, you should also get the OK now on a new digital camera. -Steve

I started it in January. so about 2 months off and on. The most difficult part was the pidgeon hole assy. It's 1/2" cherry. I resawed then planed it down. It was a difficult assy to clamp up.

Herb, it looks great! A roll top desk is something that I have always thought would be a really neat project!

That has got to be the prettiest woodworking piece I have ever laid my eyes on. I can only dream of the day I could tackle something of that magnitude.

    Kudos to you.......

    Herb,
What more can be said, it's a great design and your execution is fantastic. I keep thinking I'll get to this project level one day, but I've sure got a lot to learn first.

Beautiful work, Herb! Certainly deserves a new camera!

What ratio of oil/ms/poly do you use?

I can see this being added to my project list when LOML sees it.

    Herb, WOW!
Your roll top turned out simply gorgeous! I have always loved roll top desks, particularly when they’re made from cherry.
    Beautiful work!
