    12' miter saw blade

It has been recommended to not use a thin kerf blade in a 12" sliding miter saw. But all blades I am seeing for a sliding miter saw is thin kerf.

Anyone have a blade they recommend for finish cuts. I am using a 12" Ridgid sliding miter saw.

The Tk's will work, but it's a wide span so full kerf is a wiser choice IMO.

The Infinity 012-190 is a "mid-kerf" of 0.110". The CMT 219.090.12 has a kerf of 0.118". How's this German made Onsrud look for as low as $24.40 shipped?

I've gotten good performance from a 96 tooth Freud LU85R012.

I use Freud TKs on my 10" with no probs at all. I think that the TKs get a bad rap when the MS user "slams" the blade into the workpiece. I cut more slowly than some, but the joints are good.

I was sure I would replace the stock 60 tooth FK blade on my 12" Bosch CMS, but it cuts beautifully, and I'm still using it 2 years in. Don't know the cost, but it might be worth a look.

Here are 11 choices for you from the Carbide Processors web site.

Thin kerf or not is a matter of preference. I always go for a full kerf myself. We do really well in the thin kerf market in industrial applications. I have a tendency to want to get the work done so I like tools with a lot of strength.

Popular Tools – you have probably never heard of these unless you are a professional. These are primarily sold through pro level tool service shops. Great Quality and really great prices.

maybe I'm just too goofy to know better, but i bought a "normal" Freud crosscut blade to live in my Delta Miter Saw. I believe it was an 80 tooth ultimate cutoff blade, full kerf. In my case it was a 10" blade.
