    Stencil's

Hi, I have a customer that wants to acid etch knife blades and wants me to cut out a stencil with my laser.I don't know anything about acid etching. What would I use to make them with that would hold up to the acid?
    Thanks

I've used polyester adhesive sheets from Papilio. Kiss cut them with the laser
and they seem to hold up just fine with ferric chloride for the time it takes
to etch brass. But knife blades are (stainless?) something you'd need to
test first. The adhesive won't hold up to the acid forever.
