Like duct tape, your imagination is the only limit.
That will never hold up to rain and moisture. It seems like someone with enough brain power to run a saw without cutting their head off would know that.
I'd have gone with melamine and white duct tape. Seems to go a little better with the rest of the car and should hold up better. Weight would help out on snow and ice too.
They could have turned it into a short bed pickup.
You don't see marine-grade OSB very often....

Well, its not marine grade, but it can be left in the rain for about 6 months and it wont swell or degrade.. lol
Its actually better than plywood for outdoor use.
I live on the wet coast where rain is a regular event. For floor sheathing around here, waterproof OSB or Edge Gold is the ticket ..
Years ago I had a neighbor that built a cab on his jeep using plywood and clear plastic. he used screen door hooks for the door latches. He got on the expressway and a 18 wheeler passed by blowing everything off the jeep. LOL!!!!
